At the end of a very successful first season it was time for the Gunners Annual General Meeting and Awards Ceremony. First up was the Most Improved Player Award which went to Tony Poacher for a solid season at left back.
Next up was the Top Goalscorer award which went to Kevin Rapley for an incredible 51 goals in one season.
Then came the Player of the Year awards which were voted anonymously by the players themselves. 3rd Place went to Kevin Rapley for great season up front. 2nd Place went to Captain Dave Owen (pictured below) for a great season in the heart of midfield.
Finally, 1st place was awarded to Paul Clark for a fantastic season in the heart of midfield. The partnership of Paul Clark and Dave Owen in centre-midfield were dominant and were one of the major reasons for Gunners success this season. The 1st and 2nd place awards ahead of Kevin who scored an amazing 51 goals just shows what a great season they both had.
There was a special Club Award for Royston Taplin who was a loyal supporter during the course of the entire season. Royston was awarded with a small trophy along with framed picture of the entire team.
Finally, each member of the team also collected their Division 2 League Winners trophies.
