2006 Club Awards
This year saw the departure of three key Gunners players with Carl Littlechild retiring, Bill Maslin departing to play for a local veterans team and Paul Stout moving away and playing for a more local team.
It was perhaps fitting that each of these players would be awarded with club honours.
Carl Littlechild was given a Club Award for his services to Gunners as Club Secretary for the past couple of years.
The race for Top Goalscorer was another shoot out between Bill Maslin and Steve Tranter and Bill won out again to pick up the award for the third time.
Next up were the "Player of the Year" awards. In 3rd place was Carl Littlechild for another consistent season.
2nd Place "Player of the Year" went to Bill Maslin for another good season up front where his all round running and tireless play gave Gunners a cutting edge up front.
Finally, the "Player of the Year" award went to Paul Stout who once again dominated the Gunners midfield with his all action style and contributed goals, assists and tigerish performances.
