RBC Unison vs Earley Gunners 2 - 1

Match Report

Gunners lost out to bogey side RBC Unison for the second time this season.

A much changed around Gunners side was put out with Gunners really struggling to raise a side a few last minute replacements were found.

Gunners had the better of the first ten fifteen minutes when they created some early pressure and had a few early shots on goal.

However, RBC Unison came back in to the game and looked dangerous on the break and Gunners were stretched on a couple of occasions.

The breakthrough came for the opposition courtesy of an own goal by Paul Marten who diverted a cross into his own net.

At half time the score was 1-0 to RBC.

In the second half Gunners really failed to get a grip of the came and created few really good opportunities to score.

RBC punished Gunners on another counter-attack to make it 2-0 towards the latter period of the second half.

There was a late rally from Gunners when scored a header after Dave Owens free kick and Gunners had some late pressure but couldn’t score the equaliser.
